Paul McCartney the concert hopper,lol

Paul McCartney the concert hopper, ha!
So now Paul has been seen with Rene Zellweger, gigin it, not to be confused with
"gettin giggy with it" oh no we can't be havin that. to quote Paul:

"Iv'e got to much on my plate
don't have time to be a decent lover"

from Memory Almost Full, Pauls latest album. heheheh
ok first Paul McCartney was seen with Christy Brinkley in recent weeks attending a
James Taylor concert in the Hamptons, now with Renee attending a
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers gig. ( do you like I'm your handy man" Paul, by J. Taylor?)
What's going on Macca are you on the rockin concert circuit as a spectator?
Renee Z. musta been beside herself after it was reported last year she had a "slight crush" on you, I wonder if she readily admitted this? Than there is the media "God love em" trying to make a big deal out of everything you do Paul, one could almost say your lookin like a "playa" Paul, but nah, not OUR Macca heheh.
Well whatever it is your doing or not doing Paul mums the word from me, kidding of course. Enjoy yourself Paul, Rock out! have fun! Now you see why we LOVE to see you in concert so much its magic almost addictive! So I'm available to hang out with you Paul, why not the
Bridge School Bennie this year? I'll remember not to call you, well strike that, I know you dislike being called the "U" word. We'd have a ROCKIN good time. hehehehe.
all the best harleyblues. heheheh

The Greatest show on Earth is!

Hey everybody,
when is the last time you went to the circus? I did today
Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus. I saw the "red show" The circus still holds all the magic & splendor it did just like when you were a kid. It was quite good actually, entertaining. I loved the giant cats, man these animals were beautiful and majestic as were the horses.

The dogs were cute and fun also the acrobats. Performing acrobatic families from Bulgaria, Argentina, Mexico Russia & Asia that I recall off hand. It was great to see the elephants also but a little bit too short in the program~ I was really impressed with the circus having their own lil full piece band with sound engineer, very cool beans, the music was great!

After the two hour show I must say beyond a doubt when walking back to the car I said my friend you know? "Paul McCartney IS the Greatest show on earth! than the circus."!

Paul McCartney in Red Square 02-03 tour above. We both laughed! Yes, I am partial, hehehehe. So the next time that the Circus orPaul McCartney is in town go have some fun, and see them both you will not be disappointed two of the best shows on earth! HB~ps note: for all you animal lovers and activists here are some FAQ to animal care (yes I read it)

SOURCE: Rhino Entertainment
update on Paul McCartney DVD to drop in November 07

Features Exclusive Commentary, Behind the Scenes Footage, Over 40 Music Videos and Two Hours of Historic Live Performances; ‘THE McCARTNEY YEARS’ Is Set for Release
November 13th, 2007LOS ANGELES, CA–

(Marketwire - August 23, 2007) -
On November 13th, 2007, ‘THE McCARTNEY YEARS’ will hit the stores from
MPL/Rhino Entertainment.
"This first time ever DVD includes the definitive visual collection of Paul McCartney’s amazing career featuring solo music videos, career-spanning live performances, personal commentary by Paul McCartney and exclusive footage that tracks his incredible musical journey as never before."
Spanning four decades, ‘THE McCARTNEY YEARS’ is a three volume DVD collection, featuring some of the world’s best-loved music that has become the soundtrack to all our lives.

VOLUME ONE and VOLUME TWO contain the definitive collection of McCartney music videos. Starting in the 1970s with Paul McCartney’s first solo single “Maybe I’m Amazed,” the DVD includes the Wings promo video for “Band On The Run” as well as hits from the 1980s such as “Say Say Say,” and the 1990s with “The World Tonight.” It finishes with 2005’s “Fine Line.”

The films can be viewed either in chronological order or as play-lists that have been personally arranged by Paul featuring his exclusive voiceover commentaries.
VOLUME THREE includes live performances taken from three classic McCartney live shows; “ROCKSHOW” filmed on Wings’ 1976 World Tour, new edits of Paul’s seminal “UNPLUGGED” in 1991 and Paul’s now legendary headlining performance at 2004’s GLASTONBURY Festival.

‘THE McCARTNEY YEARS’ is also packed with bonus features and extra never before seen footage and performances, including “Let It Be” from LIVE AID, archive interviews with Melvyn Bragg and Michael Parkinson, alternative versions of music videos and the full-length 2005 documentary “Creating Chaos at Abbey Road.” Paul has recorded exclusive commentary and personal introductions for each promo video and each live concert.

This collection has been meticulously restored and all films polished, re-graded and given a new lease on life in Widescreen format with re-mastered stereo audio and for the first time the original recordings re-mixed into 5.1 surround sound. ‘THE McCARTNEY YEARS’ includes over 40 promo videos and over two hours of live performances.

harleyblues take:

Jesus, man is this DVD gonna rock or what? McCartney fans have been asking for this type of box set for years! Why Paul didn't add special footage from
Liverpool on Kings Dock in 03? I would've dropped some of the songs off the DVD like "Waterfalls" "Mamunia" what would have been nice "Single Pigeon" "Back seat of my car" but I'm NOT Paul, hehehe. However the DVD as a whole is gonna be tight from the list above, a brillant little mix of McCartney gems~
stay tuned!

Oh man NO, America's got talent, not the Hoff!

Oh hell no!

Ok, I must admit that I DO like some reality TV especially music related telly. I just had to watch this last episode (which is still on) of "America's got talent" But no, say it wasn't so! David Hasselhoff attempted to sing
"This is the moment?" It was dreadful! what the feezy? Hassellhoff was all over the place on this tune, not to mention off key! Truly embarrassing for him in front of millions of viewers. oh man I hope somebody posts this on YouTube~ seeing is believing. To watch this was truly painful. American Idol contestants could do much better than this without a full blown orchestra that accompanied Hassellhoff. Not to mention they tried to rip off"Idols" finale with guest artists. Yes it's another one of Cowell babys. NO, I'm not hatin on the Hoff but that was pure crap!
Simon Cowell would be rollling at this moment. Anyone else see this?
please post comments

Pang coming out with Lennon book

Hey everyone,

I have seemed to have gotten into a heated debate with someone off Macca's site in reguards to May Pang. May P is releasing her upcoming John Lennon book named "Instant Karma" see here

John Lennon & May Pang
Question why now? for those that do not know Ms. Pang was John Lennon's mistress for a spell after the breakup of the Beatles orchestrated by Yoko Ono herself, the trio caught up in a love triangle.

Now 25 plus years later May P. decides to come out with, a book? Oh, I could see if Cynthia Lennon & Yoko wrote books (Cynthia has) they were his wives, but not a mistress, why now? so she may make FAT dollars off Beatles fans? I suppose what bothers me the most is, John Lennon has long since past and now he is being exploited by someone who was intimate with him publishing their private photos & making a buck off their relationship~
thoughts anyone?

Blogging to Fame the bloggers

HA! Well I knew I wasn't the only soul who is ticked off on this voting/spamming game. what is Admin to do? apparently they're blocking the spammers and sifting through the rubble, when the smoke clears and the dust settles
I'm almost certain that bloggers will be much happier. It's always darkest before the dawn hehehe. However, I still see this contest geared towards the "Pros" & not "New" bloggers like myself, time will tell how this all pans out. Wondering, thinking pondering.

Talk of Pauls Eyes in London

There is talk all over the world of the "
London Eye" being renamed the "McCartney Eye."

I dunno do you think this is a good idea?
A new Paul McCartney DVD to be released this coming winter in November 07. Cover photo is one of
"Macca's eyes" as the art work. What would they do, incorporate the London eye around one of Pauls irises? this could be interesting, should they rename the London eye to the McCartney eye with a hologram on it's cover?

Will they plaster one of Paul eyes on the London eye but where? This thing is huge, no mammoth! I was on the River Thames one evening floating by and dumb founded at the size of this thing, it looks like one huge

bicycle wheel, lol Perhaps the "House of Commons" will vote on it, all the "Eyes" in favor win. lol

Remember when MTV was Great!

Remebering when MTV was great part 1
Ok you music lovers out there remember when MTV first launched on Television, remember when MTV was great pure video's and music ?

MTV launched on August 1st 1981 with it's great Veejay's (video jockeys) Nina Blackwood, Mark Goodman, Alan Hunter, J.J. Jackson and Martha Quinn the revolution of music & televison 24/7.
The brillant lil MTV commercials remember those the commercials for MTV what little gems in themselves.
I miss the early years & the fantastic video's. MTV was brillant!
Here are some early vids from MTV that I recall off the top of my head. The first video on MTV was "Video killed the radio star" by The Buggles. The lyrics are brillant. I watched it and was in awe. MTV is ok now but they seemed to have lost the magic of the early years in my opinion. Have a MTV video request just ask I'll attempt to find it.

B-I-N-G-0 and BOOTS

Morning everyone happy weekend!

Doncha just ya just hate it when you have to wake up earlier than you have too? This morning I heard some rustling around from "Boots" my six toed cat. He finally knocked over my Tiffany style lamp to get me outta bed. You know I jumped up to chase him for waking me up, the lil monster! "NO BOOTS, Mamas doesn't need to work today" hehehehe

Last night after work I went with my friend Brandy to B I N G O. Have you ever played Bingo? Man it's a trip, they had these lil machines where you input your numbers along with the paper bingo you blot out your numbers with coloured ink. you played these two at once paper & machine! It was hard to keep up. hahaha. There were some serious players there some players had lil piccies up of their family & animals also flowers, live flowers on the tables you could purchase for beautiful bingo surroundings.

Brandy was helping me play of course, they also had these funny pull tab thingys to see if you would win thruout the game. We played 96 games, yep, and you known I didn't win a damn thing. I'd be two or one number away than some would call out BINGO!

One lady won over $1000 bucks now that's some serious cash. We kept laughing and joking to make it fun. One of Brandy's co-workers and hubby met with us so close but no cigar for any of us. I spent over $80 bucks last night, Damn I suck at BINGO! ehehehe

Barry Bonds knocked it outta the park 756

OK so Barry Bonds knocked it outta the park last night in the 5th inning in San Fransico homerun #756 beating Hank Aaron's all time home run record! is this justified, does Bonds deserve the title? My oh opinion, NO WAY! I believe Bonds has taken steroids over the years. Look at his behavior with the media over the years a pompus, egomaniac who could careless what anyone thinks of him. Bonds in no hero or mentor for kids. Look at this interview last night by Gary Radnich of KRON4 of Pedro Gomez reporter from ESPN..
It kinda says it all doesn't it? click here

Here is my email I sent to Gary Radnich:

Hiya Gary

well I had to email you, first of all you RAWKKK! I watch you all the time I love your candid reporting style. Can I just say, I'm really ticked that Bonds beat Hank Aarons record! I don't believe for one minute that Bonds made home run history on sheer athletic ability, I believe he has taken steroids. C'mon Gary look at his pompous attitude and behavior over the years with the media alone. No, I don't believe he should be inducted into the Hall of Fame either. question for you, Do you like Bonds? I'm, so disappointed that I even posted about this on my blog that is mostly dedicated to music. I just wanted to share with you my opinion I WILL be posting my email to you on my blog!

Keep up the excellent work & reporting all the best

ABC's new Private Practice to use McCartney song

New this fall on the ABC line up is a show called "Private Practice" apparently they are using "Ever Present Past" one of Paul McCartney's songs off his new album "Memory Almost Full" as the opening song to the new televison show. Right on Paul this is a first.

Grey's Anatomy executive producer Shonda Rhimes combines the heart and soul of television's top-rated drama with exciting new faces in a sun-drenched new location to create a drama with a very different vibe. It's an intimate portrait of the choices and changes we make in our search for happy lives.

John Lennon's glasses sold at auction

John Lennon's sunglasses sold at auction
02/08/2007
A pair of John Lennon's "granny" sunglasses have been snapped up at auction by a British collector.

Lennon was given copper cups in return
Auction organisers have refused to divulge how much the gold-rimmed glasses went for but they were expected to fetch £1 million.
Lennon wore them on one of the last Beatles concerts during the band's 1966 tour of Japan.
He later gave them to his Japanese interpreter.
The band were at the height of their fame at the time, following Lennon's highly publicised "bigger than Jesus" comment.

Translator Junishi Yore removed the lenses on the day Lennon was shot dead outside his New York apartment on December 8, 1980.
Interest in the pair was sparked from potential buyers as far afield as the United States, Russia, Japan and Europe.
John Warner, sales and marketing director of the specialist musical memorabilia auctioneer991.com, said: "We can't reveal the figure because of a confidentiality agreement with the buyer."
The glasses came to the website from a US collector as part of a larger collection.

Paul McCartney & Brian Wilson to jam together

Paul McCartney & Brian Wilson to jam together!

~ This should be something, Paul McCartney to team up with Brian Wilson at the

Royal Festival Hall next month Sept 07 for a one night only gig, joining Brian on stage for a few songs. Paul and Brian have been mates for over 40 years. The Beach Boys & The Beatles hung out during them mid 60's in those psychedelic years wonder what happened when they got together? hehehehe
My concern is can Brian Wilson still hold a note and keep up with Macca after all he has been thru? Apparently Brian is to do a set of Sgt. Pepper tunes, I think It would be fantastic if they did "Good vibrations" together I'd love to see that!
