news flash!
sheeesh we just had an earthquake here in Northern Cali one of my cats "Boots" ran up the back of the door. Ha! It even made my heart race. Geez that was a lil shaker! my neighbors girl just ran down stairs and is scared our cells are not workin! I bet that was a 5.0 it shook like 10-15 secs.!
It was a 5.6 quake centering from Alum rock Alum rock what, San Jose? at 8:04pm the phones are still out the quake was a minute. I thought it was like 30 sec. maybe. Well It's now an hour later and my adrenaline has resumed to normal status!

Man let me be blunt! As a new blogger I believe this is bullchips, It's just like a freakin clique those that know me well know I cannot stand cliques. This is such a silly notion bloggers giving each other cyber awards for a job
"well done" "One mans trash is another mans treasure."
Tis is a mary-go-round, blogger's giving out these things to the same people all the time. why?

"Cuz they're friends" I'd rather get something from someone who is a "constant reader of my blog" or a "unknown person reading my blog" in some form or another in this way I know it is sincere and not a bunch of crap!

that they, the reader likes'/enjoys what they are reading not becuz they are friends with Joe Blow around the block feel me?

continuing on since I had one minute to write this at work as I had a meeting to attend.

Please don't get me wrong their are some fantastic blogs out there that receive no recognition at all! what about all the lil new blogs & bloggers, what about the little guy? I'm pro "little guy" getting more traffic, readers & hopefully comments, yes!!.

Not about page rank, Alexia, analytics, kissin someones ass or I'll do this for you if you do me, say what? Check yourself.

Pure shallowness I tell you and I just did. Hopefully the originators of these lil cyber award thingy's will give some time & careful consideration to all the lil guys, struggling bloggers with passion, creativity, with voices to be heard, take some notice! Yes we all like "thatta boys/girls" just be real about it.

So I salute all US lil guys out there may all your voices be heard!

"Round house webby" that accidently went live earlier this month. Scoring her two tickets immediately to see Paul McCartney at the Round House-Electric Proms" event earlier this evening! Apparently Miss Audrey had fellow fan Sharon fly with her over to London to see Paul.
(how lucky can two fans from Cali be? lol) During the live web cast from the "Proms" Paul noticed a sign in the crowd, and read it:

"Two California Girls Love U"

Well how lucky for you girls! I know you were excited beyond belief! I'm just waiting to hear about the gig! By the way, I carried my dang sign thru four countries in the last 5 years and Paul never read my sign out loud! damn gurllls!

Somehow I screwed up my Digg button thingy. My first week out at blogging I attempted to add Digg button to a news story "German women claims Paul McCartney is her father" too funny I tell you.
Well I added the Digg button and somehow when I add Digg buttons to current posts and click on them, this particular story comes up, so I thought I'll save the story to draft here on blogger, than went to Digg and buried the story.
I guess this is the wrong choice, laughing at myself here. So my buttons on my last 3 posts say "burried" no not true. Are other people seeing what I am seeing here? I am attempting to solve this lil blogger problem now.

Yesterday Paul McCartney played the Olympia theater, now Paul is off to play
The Electric Proms in London ,October 25 mark your calenders! When fans had heard about Macca playing the Proms earlier this month they went crazy in an attempt to register online with the Roundhouse & Electric Proms websites. Somehow the Roundhouse website went "live" and a few "very lucky fans" got thru and were able to purchase tickets and sold out within a few minutes.

Later on in the month fans from all over the world gathered once again, on their phones and computers attempting to get thru for hours for a last chance effort to see Macca in London. At $25 give or take per ticket, when is the last time you saw Paul McCartney for that amount?

Per Paul McCartneys official webby this morning, registered users recieved an email stating tickets had been released for the upcoming Electric Proms gig. This will be Paul McCartney's last gig for this year!

Damn! Wish I had the funds to fly to London and see Paul one more time!

Geez I just read this lil insert today from Contact Music.
Donald Trump states Paul McCartney is a "schmuck" for not getting a pre-nup. What the hell? months ago "the Donald" had claimed Macca made a huge mistake for not getting a pre-nup with Heather Mills McCartney. Now it's come up again.

Who is Trump to call Paul McCartney a "schmuck" & "poor bastard" What a laughable statement. I had to read it twice to make sure my eyes were not playing tricks on me.

Like Mr. Trump has the best matrimonial track record, Ivanna & Marla. He really has some balls calling Macca names and taking pot shots at Paul. I do like Trump's public persona but believe he is totally out of line verbally attacking Paul. Weren't things bad enough when he clowned Rosie O'Donnell, what does this say about his charactor?

I suppose some billionaires are exempt from public name calling, it's low class and low rent if you ask me. Donald apologize to Paul McCartney, if your man enough!

Gig day! Stade De France

I got ready running late, my effin ticket still hadn't arrived at the hotel, they said the ticket would be here that afternoon after I rang London. As I was about to leave a courier flew in..
MY TICKET!!! Happy feet snoopy dance.! so I split, walking down the street after about 15 Min's. I took a cab which took forever my gawd! this is a MACCA concert that I couldn't miss! when I arrived,..I had a beer and waited near the entrance looking for people that I knew.

A English security member approached me and said:

"Christina its not going to be a Beautiful night if it rains" Yes it will! I said.

we both laughed...the guy knew me? anyways I went in and had to tip that lady that seated me. Say what? so I was in block 16 row 8-8 rows back.. pretty good, than I heard HARLEY!!!!! It was the Liverpool gang guys I'm SO sorry if I forget names (the french girl that visits the board)and her Belgium hubby (She made a brillant sign!! lovely flags of France, Belgium,Union Jack and the states.

Tug of War Susan or Margo was there.. they were having a grand time as we all carried on speaking about our past concert quests. I wanted to sit with them but couldn't.. than I felt hands across my face it was Mary from Jersey that had won the Adopt a land mine tickets and sitting in the VIP section. Ahh, we all made it to Paris. I walked Mary back to her seat which was too far away for those expensive tickets... I would have kept her with me but hubby Mike was in the stands than as I went to sit in my seat.

here comes Heather, Missy and heathers entourage (Missy is Heathers security lady) Heather was really pretty in a red backless top & white pants.
The people around me were taking piccies of the my sign & asking about Heather and her autograph.. I met some rocker Chickie's behind me and asked them to give me email letter to Heather for Paul & Geoff Baker along with a card that I bought Paul in Gijon Spain.. the girls said it was from "Christina in the hat!"

yeah! great job girls... I stood up and said "Heather" like a broken record, she finally turned around and waved frantically & smiled like waving to an old friend...that was SO nice, that was pretty cool actually. At one point everyone ran too the stage there was room in the front. I ran too as did Heather~ ha! so the pre show started Heather was dancing having a blast!

Paul came out signing JET and everyone began to run towards the stage...and so did I! Now I was 2 rows back in front of me was Heather & Missy and their friends. There was a jerk guy that kept pushing.. and I said "dude quit pushing!" Missy looked back and said to him your not going nowhere.. I was like relax to this guy. I said your a big dude & we are just women be nice!

ahh man Paul was SO happy and he kept winking at Heather and smiled at me.. and gave me thumbs ups & nods and winks. as if to say "there is Me fan in the black hat" lmfao. Heather kept looking around and so was Missy they were nice alot alot!

When Paul sang GET BACK.. after the song I said Get Back Paul woohoo get back!
Paul laughed & Heather smiled and she looked back and gave me a thumbs up, of course I was yelling woooohooo yeah for the band they RAWKKKKKKKKKED!!!!! Rusty didn't look too happy too me.. except when the youngster rocker chicks were dying as he played yelling their lungs off... well
"giant man" finally made Missy mad.. she turned around, smiled than said:

''will you get your hand off my ass!!!" Oh my gawd, I almost died... I smiled at her and she winked. when Paul sang HERE TODAY! Paul sang

I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU 4 times.. the crowd cheered! but I didn't get teary this time. than "all things must pass".. well you know I had to say it.

I was stuck in the airport for 3 plus hours.... I couldn't get help and the phones didn't work. Top it off my freaking ticket isn't here yet! (for the gig) Anyways, I decided to walk around Paris late 10:30 pm- 11:00pm towards the Ritz as I approached this spectacular hotel; I notice a man leaning up against a post smoking a cigarette. Actually, it was a fence around a huge sculpture at the Ritz.

I did a double take.. I said John?. he said yes, kinda smiled. I said "you work for Paul right?"... Yes, he said.. I introduced myself and said "I'm the one in the black top hat if you have seen me".. oh yes. he said.

I asked where Paul was- and that WE NEVER SEE HIM OUT ANYWHERE!!! (John that is) he said : "because I'm usually with the boss". we both smiled.. I asked were the band was? he said, "out & about carrying on" lol.. I said that I had been in Gijon 3 weeks earlier this is my 4th country to see Paul in.. I felt bad, like I was bothering him. I asked,

"where can we bump into Paul just to say hi?" he said "it was the luck of the draw to bump into Paul.. security and everything".

  I said one minute you see Paul driving by waving, next thing you hear is Paul is stopping to say hello to fans and signing autographs.. I showed him the note that Sam Leach had written to Paul & Geoff Baker.. he wanted to know where Sam was from? I told him Liverpool of course!

I printed the email.. per Sam, so nobody thought I was lying, you know.. gosh, I forgot what I was saying. John was nice enough. I said "Geoff is sooo nice- that you gotta love him".

I was to give the note to Geoff per Sam.... lol.. he seems very quite and serious. John read the email but wouldn'r accept it! I than asked if he could tell Paul that I was here? he said he could not. Man what a bummer!

He said "nice meeting you, enjoy the show" and took off towards the hotel. I swear I wanted to cry!!

I didn't see Paul or the band, if your wondering? I really wanted to see them. Than my cannon wasn't working, what luck?~it was late at night 11:30 pm.. I just sat around the square for a bit wondering where the hell the band was? sitting around the cow piccie exhibit, working on my 35mm attempting to get it to work.

My initial thoughts 14 hours to get to Paris, my ticket for the gig isn't at the hotel, I just ran into John Hammel who wasn't too friendly, kinda aloof. equals!!!!

OK kids its Monday night & I get up in a few hours to go to Paris a very last minute deal super persuaded by some friends!!!~ I hope to see The Band & Paul.. well at this point anything would be fine with me.. I guess there is a meet up at The HardRock Cafe after the concert!!~ and the Hotel Abassador Opera after that. You can find me under Harleyblues or Christina blah blah blah if you know me last name.. I got to tell you this rawked live being in the 5th row in San Jose and the 2nd row in LA. It was too cool. I tell you! and I just did, hehehehe. A McCartney concert is badass but being in front is a total different experience. If you never have seen paul McCartney LIVE do yourself a fvaor an go and enjoy him in concert- next spring, rumour is~Love Paul!

Oh man oh man for weeks now my feeds have not been updating my content on "My Blog Log" & " Blog Catalog" and my "Imagine" widget don't ask me what happened but they stopped working. I tried for hours & weeks to correct the problem. I noticed a cool lil blogger with the name MDSanta, well I had to investigate cuz I was so intrigued by the name.

This guy is a techie guy so I read. I shot him a message and he gave some advice. I decided to bother him one more time today, hehehehe, and with some sleuthing he figured what my proper feed was! Yes, can you say hella cool!

So I have now updated my proper feed in blogger and now my content is updating, I swear I had tears in my eyes. some of the highlights of the trip were these below on May 24th I walked to the Stadium you can hear sound adjustments.. I past a security guard who let me inside for a few moments to take piccies of inside the stadium. After a bit I left and went around to the back I stood at the fence at 12:15 pm hoping to see Paul & the Band with any luck. I stood there for hours. I could see all the bustling about beyond the fence.. a man walked by to get inside the gates, I told him he looked very nice.. he said "oh yeah, I have something for you"

he came back with 5 tour posters of the gig and some post cards I was totally ecstatic! & thanked him, I took a piccie of him & his back stage pass. two other people had walked up at this time and happened to be a father & daughter from the Netherlands. I gave them each a poster & a post card.

Not two minutes later Geoff Baker came around I called out to him. he was speaking on his cell phone. I asked Geoff if I could take a piccie with him.He said "Bloody hell I drank too much gin last night!" I laughed and the Doctor from the Netherlands took our picture together.. I asked Geoff if he remembered Liverpool last year when he came out of the Cavern club? a fan was stepping all over his toes? he remembered!!~ I asked if we could please take a camera into the sound check" he think about it" he said.. ( Well I had to ask at least) I also told Geoff I thought he rocked, he laughed I stated we have discussions about Geoff all the time on Paul's official site.

I stated I came from the states and he repeated 3 times " You came all the way from the states!" Yes, I told him... Geoff said Paul would be arriving around 6 or 7pm and he would be back later. I thanked him and he left.. more fans began to gather around and I told them I had met some brilliant people of Gijon.. some of the Spanish press were beginning to come around after a few hours.

Juan Carlos a journalist from La Nueva newspaper came around to interview people. He interviewed me & the father & daughter from the Netherlands. He was great.. they took our picture for the paper, I am holding the press kit. Juan Carlos let me have the kit!!~ it was getting later and finally we saw a police escort approaching.

"Here comes Paul" in a blue Mercedes Limo as he sped by.. all you could see was Paul's hand!!! about 8:30 pm I left the stadium. & headed back too the hotel... around 10:30 pm we got ready to go into the rehearsal show...we sat at the back of the stadium were Paul began his rehearsal.. Paul looked about the size of my thumb.. there was a blonde whom I thought was a little girl..twirling, dancing & bowing to Paul.. It was HEATHER MCCARTNEY after about 7 songs we left.

We listened to the full dress rehearsal, this is when we found out that Paul would be doing Helter Skelter for the first time ever live!!!! oh man! the next day we saw the article from La Nueva..it was in Spanish so we could not read it... May25th I was nervous because this was the day of the show it had been almost a year since I had seen Paul in Liverpool June 1st of last year It took me hours to get ready.

we finally left for the sound check.. excitement was in the air & some people were beginning to gather for the gig.which wasn't to start for another 5 hours! once inside we sat down.. and the band began to rehearse Paul hadn't arrived yet.. Rusty began singing about eggs & tomatoes they did a nice rendition of Living Loving Maid by Zeppelin I believe & some blues. 15 minutes later Paul entered and welcomed US his special guests.. a couple were on their honey moon and he congratulated them ... (I might forget some bits & pieces since I'm still jet lagged) after the sound check, we got to go up to the front of the stage .. I was right in front of Pauls mic!!! it was fantastic!.

after what seemed like forever, some hours later you could hear back ground music beginning to fill the air, it was about 10:30pm.. & the pre-show began.. It was quite different than last tour I enjoyed the DJ & 60's dancers I also enjoyed the remix of rock show & temporary secretary.. but last years pre show was definitely better in my opinion.. Than Paul came out with JET!!!! the front row was going crazy!!! as Paul had recognized some familiar faces in the crowd. When Paul began to sing "Long & winding road" I began to loose it they caught me on camera on that one, I gesture too Paul a sign of tears than he came out with "In spite of all the danger" my gosh we were all in shock as Paul stated:

"I'm going to sing a song that he and John wrote before the Beatles" the time of Hamburg.

Man I began to cry more as I could hear Paul's & John's harmonies in my mind.. that was absolutely brilliant!!~ When Paul announced he was doing this one for John "Here Today" he sang

I LOVE YOU three times. and almost lost it at that point. Paul was very interactive with the front rows.. He read my sign.. a few times front & back.. I screamed to Rusty that he rocked !!~ he let out a woohooo !!~ after about 45 mins.

I FINALLY got Brian's attention.. his eyes got big and he smiled a wide smile as I told him at the chat " Don't forget look for the Black MACCA top hat" the band looked very happy as did Paul. I managed to get Wixxie attention also .. & told him he rocked also!!..I was loosing my voice at this point .. Paul & the band did the best rendition of "BAND ON THE RUN" ever..

Paul looked at me and sang, so I sang back to him..

"The first one said to the second one there I hope your having fun!!"

time just stood still when Paul sang to me at that moment! can you say effin AMAZING!

My god that was brilliant & he smiled at me! I think he might have recognized me at last.. tears welled in my eyes.. they filmed us and snapped piccies throughout the entire concert. It was damn exciting. Finally to my left just one person away I saw Heathers security lady Missy. I let out a gasp because I was so close to Heather. I mouthed to Missy If I may show Heather my shirt. she shook her head slightly no than winked.. a few minutes later I said:

"Heather" & pulled out my shirt. Heather did a double take and smiled a beautiful smile & gave me a thumbs up. I think she was surprised on the outfit the hat that said "MACCA"

Heather Missy & I wearing all wearing black hats!" it was amazing.

after Paul had finished another song.. which I forgot now laughing to self.. I past Heather a letter and a rose from a fan Mary,... than got my sign & asked Heather if she would sign it. Heather said Yes & signed "Lots of Love Heather Mills McCartney" I thanked her.

I think Heather caught a partial glimpse of the back of the sign that read HAPPY BABY !!!!! next thing I know Paul was finishing up the concert with "HELTER SKELTER" wow that was amazing.. oh my, I forgot to add "FOR NO ONE" made me definitely cry.. If I have anymore to add I'll post later .. I don't have pics yet as I and other fans have pics. When we left the stadium a few of us were interviewed for Spanish telly,.. & people wanted pics with me .. I'm Not Paul McCartney! It was brilliant !

Paul has announced that he is to play a very special show at the prestigious Olympia in Paris on 22nd October. The Olympia is the oldest and most famous music hall in Paris, having played host to an array of great names since it was founded in 1888. So Paul McCartney & Ringo Starr were in Videy Island off Reykjavík, Iceland, Very cool beans indeed. Paul & Ringo have been there since October 5th for the "Light Tower" unveiling dedication by Yoko Ono. A tribute to John & Peace around the world! Right on, how cool beans is that!
Speaking of Reykjavik, someone from this country has visited my blog today now that's cool!
I bet the dedication was truly beautiful~

The light is to stay on from October 9-December 8th every year. well all know the significance of these dates the date of his birth to John's untimely death..

Here is what I did today on me berrthday. I watched a movie on BET called "holiday Heart" starring Ving Rhames, I tripped cuz he played a Queen/female impersonator in the movie, wha?
I didn't know Ving could be so emotional and sensitive Iv'e always seen him play "gansta" roles ya feel me? I like Ving as an actor and see him differently today after watchin the flick. I than went rented 5 movies at Blockbuster, got me some potato soup at Marie C's & some pumpkin cheesecake, yum, I'll see Across the Universe nextweek.

So some of us got to get into the Sound check walking to the stadium was very exciting! we were ushered into the stands.

Rusty was singing about tomatoes and scrambled eggs..... oh my, lmao!

they played Living loving maid.. by Zeppelin... some blues..and part of the set list! Paul said

" I'd like to welcome my special guests" there was a couple who had just gotten married.. and Paul congratulated them. so after the sound check we waited a bit than went to the front of the stage..

Me & Mary from New Jersey were right in front of Paul's mic! Paul came out with Jet.. after I yelled "Rusty you rock!" he said wooohooo oooohhhhhhhhh...lol... Paul was looking at all of us.. in the front row, read me sign and nodded his head......

That's US in Gijon Spain 04 front row me holding the sign Iv'e carried for years that was finally signed by Paul McCartney 05 HP Pavillion. Thanx Paul!

In spite of all the danger tears started to well outta my eyes.. than they took a piccie of that me, tearing up. FOR NO ONE! omg! you guys that was absolutely brilliant!! some idiot girls behind me wanted me too take my hat off, yeah right! I told em NO! the pre show I did not care for.. it was a remix of Paul's songys Rock show.. Temporary Secretary!!! and alot others.. last YEARS PRE SHOW WAS BETTER in my opinion..Paul didn't read signs out loud this time. The crowd kept chanting... the football chat! Paul made a soccer kick..

when Paul sang "Here Today" he almost lost it! he sang "I love you" 3 times, it was very emotional and moving! Paul was truly happy that night and all of us in the front were carrying on.. it was brilliant!!!! heheheh

Oh did I mention Heather sat one person away from me... I wore my adopt a land mine tee. I signaled her security lady, Misty is that her name? she nodded "no"
(as not to bother Heather) I pointed at my shirt to say hello to Heather, Paul winking. Paul finished singing his first song.

I said Heather? she did a double take as me Heather & Misty wear all wearing black hats! (what are the chances?) I pointed at my shirt she gave me a smile and a thumbs up.... after another song I asked heather if she would sign my sign? she said YES!!!! I was SO happy about that and thanked her.
I was asking Paul if he would sign that effin sign too but, he kept singing his song and smiled.. Paul was interactive with ALL of us! there was many a sign and people from all over the world at this gig! the camera guys & film crew were filming all of us! it was fantastic! I'll write more later I'm dog tired.... wooohooo
