I have seemed to have gotten into a heated debate with someone off Macca's site in reguards to May Pang. May P is releasing her upcoming John Lennon book named "Instant Karma" see here
John Lennon & May Pang
Question why now? for those that do not know Ms. Pang was John Lennon's mistress for a spell after the breakup of the Beatles orchestrated by Yoko Ono herself, the trio caught up in a love triangle.
Now 25 plus years later May P. decides to come out with, a book? Oh, I could see if Cynthia Lennon & Yoko wrote books (Cynthia has) they were his wives, but not a mistress, why now? so she may make FAT dollars off Beatles fans? I suppose what bothers me the most is, John Lennon has long since past and now he is being exploited by someone who was intimate with him publishing their private photos & making a buck off their relationship~

Because May Pang is a money grubbing self aggrandizing leech who is forever trying to inflate her importantance in Lennon's life. May was merely a concubine hired by Yoko to babysit John. May Pang has never gotten over that John left her in a heartbeat as soon as Yoko called him back.

She puched away her husband Tony Visconti by her never ending focus on Lennon and now she is a divorced, middle aged menopausal old maid. That's why.

Oh Please!John Lennon loved May Pang. She is over it but still carries around her wonderful memories of him. Now she just wishes to share them all with everyone. So she makes a few bucks. BIG DEAL! If it were going into your bank accounts none of you would be saying a word. I think you should all get over it! These pictures are beautiful and "DO" show a love between them. Relationships end for many reasons. That does not mean that it did not mean anything. We have all had them. Since the relationship involved a legend like John Lennon some people just can't except that he loved someone else. You can't change the past. It happened. He admitted he loved her in an interview with Larry Kane. John Lennon said this himself. May Pang has the proof with these pictures. Yes Yoko Ono won him back. I do not think it was about winning though. It was about whether or not John Lennon was a truly happy prize to be had. If anyone ever looked at pictures after the May Pang and John Lennon relationship he never looked as sad in all the years prior to that. Even when he was with Yoko Ono before May Pang. He looked absolutely miserable from 1975 until the day he left us all. These are all happy pictures May Pang is showing us. Let John Lennon be happy again.

There is no proof that John ever said any such thing to Larry Kane. Nothing with John's voice or handwriting. Any journalist can say a dead celebrity made this statement but there is no proof. Kane just wanted to sell his book. Probably got "favors" from Pang to pump her up. Everything John said regarding Pang and the Lost weekend is contrary to these revisionist "testimonies". John was not happy most of his life. All through his life no matter who he was with there are pictures of him happy, and pictures of him sad. Gee, that means he led a HUMAN life, with changing feelings all through it. Surprise, Surprise.
Great commenst people I wonder how much money was made on this book so far? I think it really idiotic.. she comes out with a book after all these years.. just my 2 cents!
