Macca Rawks the Crowd with Intimate Gig..

Earlier this week, Paul McCartney, announced, he would be playing a one off,  lunchtime gig at  The 100 Club in London; before finishing off his incredible Up & Coming tour In Liverpool & London, ending out the year- this coming weekend..Paul, surprised fans with tunes he has never played  at gigs ie: Honey Hush & Hitch Hike a Marvin Gaye tune he had played  earlier this week at the Apollo theater in New York...

Some of those picked for the setlist below are what you could hear at a McCartney sound check.
( Oh, so intimate ) Paul, played to an intimate  crowd of 300 to 350 fans queuing in the freezing snow and rain.. waiting to get in- for those lucky enough to score tix..Paul rarely plays intimate gigs. The last one at Amoeba Records in Hollywood in 2007 where  we waited in line for 3 days- than separated by CD stands. So, these gigs are truly special..

He even brushed the hands of some- in the front row- damn!...Dawn & Rick you're lucky to have been there :)  Ahh, my friend Danica was there also?!!~ dang-it lol and me a dreadful 7 weeks I've had- and sent home again for being sick.. If I had the money and the time I'd be in Liverpool & London too- sniff- ha!!  So, .......how was YOUR lunch?

Happy Valentines to all you out there. An especially exciting Valentines Day to the fans who lucky enough to get tickets to the exclusive gig-at The joint, Hard Rock Cafe, in Las Vegas..

Jamming the Lines

Today at 12 noon sharp 1000's of anxious fans (got their fingers ready) jammed the phone lines & Internet in hopes of buying a ticket to see Paul McCartney on April 19th at the Legendary Hard Rock Cafe & Casino..

Hopes were dashed for many as Ticketmaster "stated there were no floor seats available" after one minute after 12pm . How can that be? I was on the phone and the net. I could not get a seat on the net at all.. Finally after 3 attempts..I finally, was able to purchase a ticket...wooohooo...wow! almost sweat ed that one big time..

The McCartney "Joint venue" was a most difficult ticket to obtain....for fans..

Other anguished fans were disappointed as it appeared the Joint gig was sold out within minutes. However Ticketmaster, held back some tickets as persistent fans kept trying and trying-for over an hour in some cases, to secure at least, ONE ticket-with success for some while others hopes fell short. Die hard fans, will do almost anything to see Paul McCartney. Tickets were mainly sold for the main floor at $191-$218 w/surcharges...

I am so excited to see Paul McCartney again, it's been over a year plus, since I saw Paul, at Amoeba Records on Sunset in Hollywood...I can't freakin wait!

Dude how hard could it be to print piccies? here is what NOT to do!

Man I have spent the last 5 plus hours attempting to print piccies. NO CAN DO! lol first off I have an inkjet printer, secondly the quality is poor and makes pics run or distorted. Don't buy ink jet printer for pics! Than went to a local fotoshop to get a CD-R to copy piccies to file right?

Well it copied most of the piccies but not the pics that I wanted (49er pics at training camp!) why? these pics were sent via email even tho we were at the damn training camp lol.

I then went to send said 16 pics to Shutterfly, NO CAN DO! they were in the wrong effin format. Bitmap not J-peg. So I will try one more thing, upload said pics to my blog in a draft than go back to the fotoshop and upload to CD-R there since they DO have Internet access hopefully this will work and I will try this tomorrow.

By the way, My Paul McCartney piccies from the Amoeba gig came out blurry, wouldn't you know it, as I was using my cell and Paul was jumping and moving around.lol
Dang I never thought trying to print pictures could be so freakin frustrating & complicated! lol

Since my last post that really has me burned up I thought I'd add a little ditty about one of Paul McCartney security people. On Tuesday the 26 a well built man with a nice smile was walkin thru the line of fans he stopped in our section.
I asked him a question (can't remember what it was at the time.) I introduced myself as "Harleyblues Christina" one of the McCartney's board members. I shook his hand he was a friendly guy, like I said before in an earlier post he could not believe that we would wait inline to see Paul McCartney, hehehehe.

I than showed Michael a piccie of me in my out fit from Liverpool 03 you know, he laughed I dress like that he said, YEP, I'm not ashamed hahaha

He said we were crazy teasin us.
Michael couldn't believe how much travel we had made to see Paul I mentioned lots of fans travel to see Paul. It's Paul, it's the music. IT"S OUR PASSION!

Tessa and I attempted to tell him "This is Paul McCartney!" we chimed. he asked IF we were such huge Macca fans what band did John Hamill play with? whaaaa, laughin that's news to me. Tessa and I looked at each other I said Rod Stewart & the Faces. nope. he joked what kinda fans are you hehehehe.
I said fair enough I'll ask Geoff Baker I know he will tell me, he smiled and asked "Why do you like Geoff Baker so much" WHY! hehehe Oh Geoff rocks, he has been so good to fans all these years, great PR person for Paul, he is a fan himself , cared for Paul & Linda, The McCartney family, he really cares,I miss Geoff.

I emailed Geoff yesterday and told him I'm in search for the McCartney gig in LA if he had a free chance for Geoff to ring me on my cell phone hahahahaha. (yeah right Geoff won't ring and he didn't ahahahaha!)

So Tessa got to the front row the night of the gig by Paul's security of course "lucky her" bet If I was as beautiful as she was I might have been in the front row also, effin bummer for me!
I'm happy just the same I was able to see Paul & the band.
So I guess the moral to my lil ditty here is please Paul McCartney's people be cool with the fans! we have been supportin him since the early years we Love Paul!
