It's Here, It's Tonight, Macca On SNL!

It's been awhile since Paul McCartney has appeared on SNL.. far too long in fact.  Would love if they made him a guest host..( please)  He certainly has had an exciting two weeks..Will he perform in any skits?  ( we hope) Perhaps, being on The Miley Cyrus show? That would be fab!! Macca's - Song choice? Please, Paul, surprise us!!!

Yeah, Paul was in a skit. kinda silly, singing 'walking in slow motion' to the music of 'Take my breathe away' - than playin a mini mini mini harmonica` a bit bigger than a thimble; dressed like Mozart ( no wig). Is it just me, who didn't get that mini skit, or?~ ha!

hahaha~ Paul was on Weekend Update w/ Seth Myers-doing a voice over for Camilla/ when she & Prince Charles were mobbed on their way to a London event this week- Good one Paul...very good.. You're a natural~haha miles of smiles~

Perfect vocals of Band on the Run.. So COOL, going to commercial, showing Beatles for Itunes..awwwe

SNL Blew It

C'mon SNL the skits are tired and boring this episode.. Geez, Paul McCartney's is musical guest. Why aren't the skits funny & hip. Like when Betty White was guest host? I won't say anymore but the show isn't that great tonight with the exception of Paul...You could have worked the skits around Macca..wasted opportunity....SAD!

At the very end Get Back!!~ woohoo Paul!~ now, that is a surprise- while rolling the credits~ OH great they just fucking cut Paul off- to commercial, while Paul was singing! WTF?!?! Boo- SNL..

Macca honored with Kennedy Center honor- Grammy's, Sirius Radio ..SNL

It's a HUGE week for Paul McCartney, who was honored for a Kennedy Center Award, last night

in Washington DC.  A Grammy nomination for Helter Skelter at Citi Field- Best Solo Rock Performance. ( Yeah, I was there! ) As a musical guest to appear on SNL ( Saturday Night Live ) Dec 11th .

.Also, a first to play the Apollo Theater on Dec 13th to celebrate Sirius Radios 20 million subscribers..whew! how can one keep up?

Right on Paul! we are all so proud and will be watching and listening...

Wow, trying to win tix to see Macca at The Apollo was next to impossible. For 4 days I tried to score the elusive ticket; only to get a busy signal, most of the time. And when I did get through, the phone would ring and ring and the voice at the end would pick up and  say " We Got A Winner Try Again Tomorrow" Lucky for those of you subscribers who did win tix to the Apollo - Sirius event.. It should Rawk!~ It will Rawk! Paul McCartney's Band On The Run Radio is amazing. It runs for 1 month during the holidays. Rare tracks, mixes, mega mixes, The Fireman, Wings, Beatles, solo Macca-  some of the best tracks I have ever heard.. Paul McCartney is one amazing singer/song writer.. The very best of radio I have ever heard..

Macca to Rawk SNL

Paul, please, play something new- not your 'Ol Stand By's'. Pretty please? Like 'Paperback Writer'- that sounds ooh so yummy live and the guys really kill this one- with it's extended version, rawkin guitars and drums and vocals...just a thought..I can ask right? ha!

Our Macca to Rock the White House, this Wednesday June 2nd. Paul to receive The Gershwin prize for Popular Song from The Library of Congress.The Highest musical honor--wow!.

Paul is the 3rd recipient to receive such an esteemed honor. past honoree's, Paul Simon & Stevie Wonder. Paul recently announced on an online chat, he would be playing the White House..'You heard it here first' he said.-Miles of Smiles coming from Paul. Paul fans already knew Paul, would be playing for the President back in March we just didn't know when-ha! I bet the guys in the band are in awe..We're playing The what -?!!

Query, what about the Set list?
I wonder what the set list will consist of? 'Sing The Changes' for sure 'Michelle'. ( Paul had commented in the past he wanted to sing 'Michelle', for -The First Lady ) Will the First lady blush. Will this be a subdued show or a rocker? ( I'm hoping for a Rawker! ) Some 'Helter Skelter', 'I've got a feeling', 'Paper Back Writer', '1985' perhaps? Oh Yeah!

Hello, my friends, Just a quick word before I head out to rehearse for a show at THE WHITE HOUSE {!!!} Ok, it’s not often you get to say that, right?...

I am so honored to have this opportunity to play with Paul for the President and
his wife, as well as most members of the US Senate. Paul is being honored and
awarded the Gershwin Award for songwriting. This isonly the third time in
history the award has been given and it is most deserved, isn’t it?

Ok kids, please bare with me. I cannot stand it any longer. I almost cringe!- a small rant on Sarah Palin. Watching her campaign over the past 2 weeks or so,. I can't keep silent any longer, without commenting.
Just the other day, Saturday night in fact, I was telling a loved one, I believed Rep. Gov. Sarah Palin was "Wack"yep, that is slang for CRAZY!

If that wasn't enough, when I tuned into MSNBC countdown an unknown source in the McCain camp, today in fact, also called Sarah Palin a "Whack Job" my ears perked,. whaaaaa?. Whoa, something I can finally agree with on the Republican side, something straight forward, and honest coming from the McCain Camp! someone's on hit!

Hey,I'm not the only one who believes Sarah Palin is Whacked! talk about outta touch, this women is embarrassing she can't "Represent" me, or the US, give me a break. I can barely type, people. This women is 'Scary Sherry Dangerous' How will SNL run with this latest news of Palin the Wacko? they're gonnna run with it!

Oh and did you see that lil snippet of the Joe-ism's yesterday on the Palin campaign trail? paraphrasing here, Sarah Palin's favorite Joey-ism is:

McCain needs to get a grip

I like John McCain,. I appreciate all his years of service to this country,. I applaud him for that. If McCain believed he could sway Hillary Clinton voters with 'Annie get your Guns?'-bullchips! Most American women are smarter than this Rep. VP and we aren't falling for it. I suspect many women are laughing there asses off at Palin. This women should be selling Mary Kay and disappear.

I got people trying to get my vote for Sen. Obama. Obama is highly intelligent,. a brilliant speaker with great ideals for the people of this country, who is best suited for the Presidency, there I said it, and admit it, rant over. I know people with much more skillz and more common sense than Gov. Palin, I'm done with Palin and all this bull.

Palin should stand in the unemployment line with the rest of the poor people who have lost their jobs lately, than sell all them darn clothes and dole out that $150,000 grand to all the people in that line, the monies from the proceeds! errrrrrr!
