Ahh wouldn't you know it I have seemed to have lost my final installment of Paris 04 sheeesh
I was close to the end when I posted part 3 of Paris 04 so I'll go from memory!

It was great standing in the crowd of 35,000 plus fans, especially when you are in front of the stage, the front row a very surreal experience. Those of you that know what it feels like to stand in front of your favorite artist it feels like your own personal concert, doesn't?
Here I am next to Heather McCartney when I hear a voice shouting at me:

"Harley, Harley! hi Harley smiling" than "pointed his guitar to me playin a lil riff!" Brian way truly rawkin it!! wooohoooo!

from the stage it was Brian Ray one of Paul's band mates saying hello to me from the stage rawken out! TRIP! I was tryin to yell back to Brian to throw me a couple guitar picks so I may have one. hehehehe

Man that was so cool the girls from the rocker band went wild and couldn't believe that Brian called out to me like that. Yes it was cool alright! "Thanx Bri" I than moved closer to the center of the crowd in front and Heather & co. who yelled out,
" show the camera your poster" so I held up me lil poster for them to film, Paul's lil film crew! I bumped into Paul's tour manager also who I had no idea at the time who he was. He musta thought I was mad crazy carryin on this way!

Brian came over once again and threw his picks into the pit in front of us! I called out to security to give me the picks. he gave me one. I believed he did not understand English, as we were shouting out to the security guy, Suddenly a large, built strong looking man came out from nowhere grabbed the pick outta his hand, turned around smiled at me, got my hand and placed the guitar pick in my hand.

This was Paul's personal body guard and head of security Mark Hamilton. Than was gone in a flash! ha! "Thanx Mark that was very sweet of you" The rest seems to be a bit of a blurr now, truly one of the most memorable moments of my life!
note: I lost one of the picks at the airport on my way back to the States trying to pay for something. I was dog tired, and also disappointed in myself for loosing one of my prized memories.

Does this ever happen to you the lag effect of Procrastination?

Lagging, I have this bad habit of putting things off until the last minute. Ok some may call it procrastination call it what you may. I'm the spur of the moment kinda girl.

I keep notes on pieces of paper and also phones numbers, if I do not already input these numbers in my cell fone.

lol I keep things in stacks or piles and I am not organized, whats that? I know it's a bad habit like smoking or anything that you cannot stop doing, ha.

I focus most of my off time blogging and being on the net, neglecting other areas of my life like cleaning house, paying bills, or hangin out with my peoples.

I suppose it's an escape from the daily grinds of life but if I had my way I'd be in Europe trippin around over there. There is so much info and fun to be had on the net, right?

If you do not have the monies you can search the world over and visit other people and their countries via the web.

One day I spent hours on Craig's list looking at property around the world in awe of property for sale in Paris. Italy London& Hawaii.

(I aspire to own property one day that's if I win the lottery, you do the math)

If this was to happen I'd hire a maid to do the house work, a personal assistant to write down all my messages & my todo's and a Real estate agent to buy property where I live, the Bay area and a flat in London. So until than I must do this myself-ha! So this weekend is here is my todo list

clean the pad

perhaps do a lil bit of laundry

work on a Christmas Beatles project for another blogger

and post my final installment of Paris 04 McCartney gig ( I have seriously lagged on that lol)

Like they say the first step is admitting you have a problem than have a game plan of action!

Getting here.

I was stuck in the airport for 3 plus hours.... I couldn't get help and the phones didn't work. Top it off my freaking ticket isn't here yet! (for the gig) Anyways, I decided to walk around Paris late 10:30 pm- 11:00pm towards the Ritz as I approached this spectacular hotel; I notice a man leaning up against a post smoking a cigarette. Actually, it was a fence around a huge sculpture at the Ritz.

I did a double take.. I said John?. he said yes, kinda smiled. I said "you work for Paul right?"... Yes, he said.. I introduced myself and said "I'm the one in the black top hat if you have seen me".. oh yes. he said.

I asked where Paul was- and that WE NEVER SEE HIM OUT ANYWHERE!!! (John that is) he said : "because I'm usually with the boss". we both smiled.. I asked were the band was? he said, "out & about carrying on" lol.. I said that I had been in Gijon 3 weeks earlier this is my 4th country to see Paul in.. I felt bad, like I was bothering him. I asked,

"where can we bump into Paul just to say hi?" he said "it was the luck of the draw to bump into Paul.. security and everything".

  I said one minute you see Paul driving by waving, next thing you hear is Paul is stopping to say hello to fans and signing autographs.. I showed him the note that Sam Leach had written to Paul & Geoff Baker.. he wanted to know where Sam was from? I told him Liverpool of course!

I printed the email.. per Sam, so nobody thought I was lying, you know.. gosh, I forgot what I was saying. John was nice enough. I said "Geoff is sooo nice- that you gotta love him".

I was to give the note to Geoff per Sam.... lol.. he seems very quite and serious. John read the email but wouldn'r accept it! I than asked if he could tell Paul that I was here? he said he could not. Man what a bummer!

He said "nice meeting you, enjoy the show" and took off towards the hotel. I swear I wanted to cry!!

I didn't see Paul or the band, if your wondering? I really wanted to see them. Than my cannon wasn't working, what luck?~it was late at night 11:30 pm.. I just sat around the square for a bit wondering where the hell the band was? sitting around the cow piccie exhibit, working on my 35mm attempting to get it to work.

My initial thoughts 14 hours to get to Paris, my ticket for the gig isn't at the hotel, I just ran into John Hammel who wasn't too friendly, kinda aloof. equals!!!!

OK kids its Monday night & I get up in a few hours to go to Paris a very last minute deal super persuaded by some friends!!!~ I hope to see The Band & Paul.. well at this point anything would be fine with me.. I guess there is a meet up at The HardRock Cafe after the concert!!~ and the Hotel Abassador Opera after that. You can find me under Harleyblues or Christina blah blah blah if you know me last name.. I'm excited but I cannot find Podgie anywhere to stuff in my suitcase!!~ I wish all my mates well.. as you know who you are I have a small note to give to Paul & Geoff Baker via Sam Leach!~ lets see if that will happen who knows what will fly at this gig!~ or mischief I might get myself into. Yeah, another B-day ok not wanting anymore ever feel like that? what am I doin "write" now heheh smokin a ciggie and about to drink a cup of cofee. Yes I know ciggie smoking is hazardous to your health. I'm always on the verge of quitting.

So today I must go see "Across the universe" the new Beatle/movie musical, sounds like a plan, note to self (get off the damn computer and see movie, duly noted) My birthday prezzie to me is to stop smoking, and If Paul McCartney would give me a ring I'd be utterly freakin happy! lol off for my coffee~
