1. Have you spent any time in the Palm Springs area? Does the desert inspire you?

I love the desert intensely but have not spent any time in the Palm Springs area, although we did shoot some pictures for the Venus And Mars album cover in northern California in the desert. The desert I know best is Arizona and I love it. I love being there.

2. Why at this point in your illustrious career, did you decide to perform at a U.S. festival?

Because I was asked and it seemed like a great idea. I like that it’s in the desert, I like that it’s the first festival of the year and everyone I talk to told me it was the coolest festival.

3. Will The Fireman be getting a live outing?

We are hoping to bring The Fireman along and persuade him to do a couple of numbers.

4. How do you feel about playing to a crowd as diverse as the Coachella audience? What do you hope the crowd will walk away with?

Their feet! I like diverse audiences; I kind of get them whether I like it or not – my audience often has a big generational span. The spirit at a festival event is very free and so fits with my way of thinking.

5. Are you planning anything different or special for this performance?

Yeah! We will do a few things we haven’t done before and change some of the songs from our normal set.

6. In 2004 you warmed up to Glastonbury with a European tour, how have you been warming up for Coachella?

By playing for David Lynch’s ‘Change Begins Within’ foundation in NYC.

7. Do you feel in the festival setting that there’s a certain level of camaraderie among the performers?

Yeah I think performers and audience all know it’s a party and we are all part of something special – it’s a coming together of like-minds which is always pretty exciting.

8. What are your expectations from this show?

I expect to have a great evening out and groove with ‘ma people’.

I hope you play to the hardcores especially in Vegas!~ wish I could be there at Coachella......woohooooo! hehehe well you hope they leave with their feet Paul? lmao, Ok, so new music from Electric Arguments-and never performed music-with this current band? or never performed music ever?

What will Paul do now another gig, new album, or tour?
Just wondering what Macca will be up to now, since the Israel gig is over? He scared the mess out of alotta people by going to Israel and playing there. Please don't let us worry our little heads again Paul., Will he be brushing up in the studio finishing his new album? I believe it will be another fireman album-see post below. "New album about to drop the fireman Rushes in".

I'm so excited woohooo Snoopy feet, happy dance! ah upon close inspection of the albums art reveals,. Arguments is spelled -Arguments without an E we shall soon find out if this was Paul's intention or a misprint., hum well it appears that I am the only one in the known universe who spells arguement with an E, I swear if you could only see my red face.lmao!

or will Paul, be planing his next tour? Dang the economy is extremely bad in the states,. I'd be lucky enough to attend one concert I'd opt for more intimate settings and many venues, but than agian Paul McCartney is not Superman, so I suppose we can't be too demanding of his time.,

Hum., Yesterday NME posted "Paul is firing EMI" so I didn't read the article,. Well Paul had done this already,. gave EMI the boot last year for lack of vision-boring,. said Paul, but upon careful sleuthing thru my deleted mail..I came upon the NME story with piccie of partly posted Fireman pic.,.(gosh I'm mean) lol seen here.

NME claims they donot know the orgin,meaning of the pic-some sort of album cover art.,.,it's gotta be a plant,.right? ha!
Anyhow,. I picked up a link from a thoughtful girly in the UK,. Now if you enter the Firemen webby you land on said piccie as posted on NME., and here right-nice huh!

and when you click on any links where does this land you? On Paul McCartney's official webby,.Imagine that! Hey,. what do you want?. me to provide the links and clues for you? Yeah, the walrus was Paul,.

I love cryptic messages .,.,those that know me well know that I write in this manner,. So the question is this, will Paul be dropping another album under the Fireman or will it be McCartney 111? When,. Where & Under what name? Linda's birthday?

Well on Meyesite you can listen to "check my machine" from McCartney 11.. Yeah,. checkin on the webby Paul.,I don't think it's there for the fun of it? perhaps these were just early clues- again, maybe? yes,. this has got to be it, Some of that other music sounds like that Rushes album too..I kill myself, lol

I love it when Paul is a clever man, tis like finding a treasure getting his fans all worked up & stuff....it's so effin exciting !! I like all em theories don't you with the exception Paul is dead theory.,It's the first day of Fall or Autumn my favorite time of year., I cannot wait for the new album!~what's it all about Alfie!!!
