Upper Room Church an update, Bill Gates Foundation rejects Church in need!

Upper Room Church an update, Bill Gates Foundation rejects Church in need!

You know I received a nice lil message from
Tammy Rodriguez Youth Pastor of the Upper Room Church in Hayward. Evidently they had received an email from the "Bill Gates Foundation" rejecting their claim!

OK, WTF? Pardon the Pun, but Bill Gates has more money than God! Why in the world would his foundation, reject a little churches request of help? You might be saying well, everyone needs help? Well, Yes but this is a lil Church a small place or worship, a place for people to gather, a place who brings comfort & joy, Peace and Love into people's lives.

Cannot someone out their help them out?

The freakin Government is throwing billions in Iraq killing people, for what?

but these people cannot get help from a corporation here in Silicon Valley? OK, this is a local hot button issue here people, Why not pass this lil post to everyone you can, Stumble it, Digg it, give them my link to my blog here, Perhaps if we make some noise, OK a lot of noise, with YOUR help someone might pay attention and listen?

I'd hate to see this Church closed down because of corporate greed and an unwillingness to help its neighbor and other fellow Americans. Don't mess with God's house, I tell you these places are scared, I really feel for these people here.. here is my orginal post here

Reach out & Touch Yolanda Williams

Past week at the Annual Kennedy Center Honors. It was brillant, Yolanda paying tribute to Diana Ross. Yolanda is a Gospel singer. I dedicate this lil song to The Upper Room Church

Dangerous Dog owners by Geoff Baker

Dangerous Dog owners by Geoff Baker

Geoff's candid thought's of being a dangerous dog owner.

Following the slaughter of a one-year-old child by a Rottweiler dog the British Government has announced that is has no plans to ban Rottweilers.

How about another ban, then, preventing stupid people from owning Rottweiler dogs?
A Rottweiler is an attack dog, that is the entire point of the bloody animal - like pit bull terriers and all the rest of that lot, they are not pets - they are weapons.
And anybody who concludes that an infant and an attack dog in the same domestic space is "fine" or "OK" or "alright" is a fucking idiot.

Years and years ago I helped to effect the banning of handguns in the UK, which I did because some people are just too thick to risk them being allowed a pistol.

The same argument applies to dangerous dogs -some people are not bright enough to be entrusted with a Rottweiler, Alsatian, Pit Bull or Doberman.
You know exactly who I'm talking about but you're just too PC to agree

harleyblues take:
Geoff I couldn't agree more, these type of agressive dogs should be used ONLY by Police & The Miltary to sniff out the bad guys, & sniff out drugs period. Put them to good use in what they are made for, to attack the enemy, everyones definition might differ tho?

People who own such dogs should get a stiff penalty, if their dog should attack another human being, like fat jail time. Look at Michael Vick, he used dogs as a sport for fighting I'm not sure what breeds, but they were abused. Do you think these dogs should come with a warnig?

Buyer beware, adoption of such dog could lead in the maming & death to other animals or people.
Do you think aggressive dogs should be banned from ownership?

HOT news from the Sun Paul & Ozzy to Rawk out at Brit awards!

HOT news from the Sun Paul & Ozzy to Rawk out at Brit award!
piccie courtesy of The Sun

OZZY OSBOURNE is to fulfill a lifelong dream at the Brit Awards — by performing with his hero SIR PAUL McCARTNEY.
Brits bosses are thrashing out the final details for The Prince Of Darkness to join Macca for an explosive finale.
Aptly for Ozzy, after his well documented booze and drugs battles, they will perform Paul’s classic Bond theme Live And Let Die. And if it does come off it will all be down to Ozzy’s wife SHARON.
The X Factor judge has used her influence — and the couple’s gig as awards hosts — to set up the once in a lifetime opportunity for her hubby.
She said: “They go together really well. It will be amazing.”

Sir Paul will also be presented with an Outstanding Contribution To Music gong at the bash, being held at London’s Earls Court on February 20.

A show source reckons the performance will go down as one the most memorable in its history.
He told me: “Sharon is a very determined woman and wants it to be the best Brits ever. She’s been in touch with lots of the legendary music business names she knows personally.

“It was her idea for a duet between Ozzy and Sir Paul. If it happens, it will be unmissable.”
The Brits is renowned for its duets. The most memorable in recent times came in 2003 when JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE sang with KYLIE, grabbing the pint-sized Aussie’s rear during the performance.
But king of the duets is JAMIROQUAI star JAY KAY. In 1997 he teamed up with soul legend DIANA ROSS to perform her hit Upside Down. And in 2005 he did DONNA SUMMER’s Bad Girls with ANASTACIA.
;
Ozzy is a self-confessed mop-top fan and has long been a champion of Paul’s. He has said: “McCartney’s a genius. THE BEATLES were the greatest band ever.
“The only problem I have with him is even God has a p***ed off day.
“No one can be that happy all the time. Even Mr Happy gets a sore ass sometimes.”
Ozzy voted Paul’s latest album Memory Almost Full as his favourite of 2007 in a web survey
.
And he’s even admitted having rather sinister fantasies about the Scouser. He said: “I used to dream, ‘Wouldn’t it be great if Paul McCartney married my sister?’. My bedroom wall was covered in pictures of him.”
If Sharon gets her way, there will be plenty more photos for Ozzy to hang up.
harleyblues take:
Damn Ozzy IS funny, lol
Oh hell yes! Paul McCartney & Ozzy together, this should be effin awesome! Somebody better downlaod this on youTube. I'm glad Ozzy finally gets to fulfill his dream with Macca, this is roo cool. Michael Jackson Used to be Bad!

Michael Jackson Used to be Bad!

TMZ reports Michael Jackson cuts Pauls McCartney out of his remake of "The girl is Mine"
also stating to Macca "your dead to me" WTF? I wasn't going to mention a thing on my blog, until, I kept reading it all over the net. I find it irratating to read such words from Michael,
if in fact he actually stated this this crap, as posted by TMZ

Jackson 5- Carol Burnett show Membering when Michael was, Superbad!
One of the Jackson 5's best songs.

Ok So Michael made a a remake of the
"Gargolye is Mine" cuttin Paul out of the song. BFD~ here is my response on TMZ 11.

"Hey Michael? BFD! So what if you cut Macca out of "THE GARGOLYE IS MINE"
Big deal, Remember when you stoled all the BEATLES rights, from right under Paul,
after he asked you not too? Sure you do.
Anyhow I like your music, but don't try and go dissin

When Michael Jackson was still cool above, before he decided to deform him self with surgery. I think Michael still owes Paul an apology, from way back when.

update: Dec31
Does this make it better? Michael Jackson has not stripped Paul McCartney off his record
"The Girl is mine" for the 25th anniversary of Thriller, but has included the original track.

" Yes, will.i.am has recorded new vocals for a remix of 'The Girl Is Mine' minus McCartney but the original version is still going to be on the anniversary album".
A very good read, see more here Undercover HD

Man the Middle East is in an effin mess!

Man the middle east is in an effin mess!

I hope I don't offend anyone on these lil thoughts of mine. What a mess the Middle East is in? What a freakin idiot who killed a former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, a women no doubt. What a beautiful women who loved her country. What a loss, as in all the losses of our countrymen and alias to date.

Man, I feel for her family the loss of a wife & mother. Evidently they were not taught that real men do not hurt women, but who can communicate with a mindset like that? No one!

I personally feel the United States is in way to deep as it is already, bring the troops home.

Yep, I don't get all this foreign policy crap and feel for the innocent civilians that live there in the Middle East. They must be worried for the futures of their countries, the ones in unrest.

I'm absolutely disgusted with this war. The United States has it's own issues to worry about like tax payers continuing to pour billions of dollars in Iraq! When is enough, enough? Please don't get me started what we could have done with the money for American's and this country.

I'm also tired of the United States trying to police the world. note: to the rest of the world, most American's are not idiots, consumed with greed and power.

Hopefully OUR next President of The United States, will make this country, it's first priority!
Semi-rant and disgust is now over.

Peace to the world

Local Church in need from Foreclosure

Local Church in need from Foreclosure

Man this really bothers me and gets to my heart. No, you do not have to be religious, or a church goer to see the symbolism of this story. On my local news KNTV in San Jose's Scott B. from

Upper Room Church in Hayward

The "Tech Report"reports a local church The Upper Room Church in Hayward is in foreclosure asking viewers if they could help in someway.
I applaud Scott's efforts for spreading the word on this Churche's financial hardships. It does bother me tho, that a small Church is in trouble, with no help offered?

No, I'm not talking about us hard working people that barely afford the rent, but corporate giants like, Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Oracle offering no help. We are in the heart of Silicon Valley people, we have "Big Money" here. Damn, Google and others make billions of dollars a year, can they not offer some money into the kitty for this lil neighborhood Church? These are our neighbors-Hayward's just a roll away across the bay.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not picken on Google as if I could, but I am always on their search engines researching stuff, can they not put all my clicks and everyone else's here in the Bay area to good use and help bail out this Church?

You know Google makes bank outta us, why not give back? Use this opportunity
"Corporate Giant's" to help the lil guy, a small church. You can write it off and everyone wins!
I'm telling you if I had the monies I'd call em up and offer my financial support.

Charity begins at home people and if you can help your neighborhood, well that's a blessing to you. I hope someone comes to their rescue, on this Christmas eve.

Huckabee R. Paul is dead?

Huckabee R. Paul is Dead?

Anyone hear the lil snippet yesterday about Republican candidate Mike Huckabee stating Texas congressmen
Ron Paul is dead, if you play his message backwards"?
OK, you got me what message and what commercial? I'd like to hear the reference. What he-Huckabee thought he was hip making the inference to Paul McCartney?

Sure I thought of Paul McCartney immediately and the Beatles messages from 1966., The Paul is Dead legend. Can you say totally stupid and far reaching with The Paul/Huckabee Beatle reference ? Huckabee, who can take a name like this seriously? C'mon I get pictures of Huck Finn and Huckleberry jam.

Ron Paul, I swear I thought Ron Paul was a blogger or a Rupal impersonator of some sort, until a few months ago. I than found out he is a grass roots Rep.politician raising tons of money on the net.
Yeah, Ron send some money my way so me and my friends can see:
The Real Paul McCartney on his next tour. lol No disprespect, Ron Paul looks like a dang dinosaur talking big game. I respect his money making campaign efforts tho, I'll give him that. (wondering who's peepin at me blog since I mentioned Paul, Hillary & Bill Clinton in my last post?) ha!

So what was really meant by whom on The Paul is Dead reference? Still confused? I'm still puzzled? lol
Ahhh, It's all subliminal people hold onto your wallets! lol
update: Ok saw another snippet of this commercial via the news.
Huckabee states:
" If you noticed I was sending Morse code with my eyes to the Evangelicals-saying Paul is dead, Paul is dead, Paul is dead."
what the F? he said this with a straight face, is that just freakin weird or what, and this guy wants to be President of The United States?
psst if you like this post please Stumble it or Digg it!

Iowa supports Hillary you go HILL! memories Bill, Macca,& Uncut mag!

Iowa supports Hillary you go HILL! memories Bill, Macca,& Uncut mag!

Well we won't mention politics but just a lil snippet.
. "Iowa is backing Senator Hillary Clinton". I like Hillary she is a gutsy women, no Guts no Glory you go Hillary, woohoo.

This brings me back to a memory Barnes & Noble, Paul McCartney & Pres Bill Clinton.
A few years back I was just dying to get a copy of Uncut magazine with Paul McCartney on the cover. Included in the Uncut mag a Cd of some of Paul's favorite songs.
I went to the Santa Clara store every few days to see if they had the issue. On this one particular day Id thought I'd call first.

Me: Hello do you have the Uncut mag of Paul McCartney on it's cover yet?

BN: Yes, it's finally here.
Me: Oh man great I'll be right over!
BN: Oh but I don't think you can get into the parking lot.
Me: well why not? puzzled
BN: it's blocked off by the Secret Service
Me: What?!!!
BN: Yes President Bill Clinton is here for a book signing
Me: Your kidding right? President Clinton is here, I didn't hear about that (man I haven't been watching the news)
BN: Yes people have been waiting in line for 2-3 days, I don't think they are accepting anyone else it's a wrist band lottery, they are turning people away.
Me: just like a concert lol man I wish I knew about this, I would Love to meet Bill Clinton I love Bill.
BN: Ohh I'm sorry you didn't hear about the book signing but we do have the Paul McCartney Uncut magazine for you!
Me: wow thanx! I'll be over tomorrow

I got off the phone and said to myself, wow, The President is here in Santa Clara, dang If I would have known I would have waited in line to meet President Clinton and get his autograph too funny.
Besides Paul McCartney & Ringo Starr I always dreamed of meeting Bill Clinton.

I envisioned walking up to the President's table, saying hello President Clinton, asking very nicely, will you inscribe this in my book? Mr. Clinton looking up with a smile "sure" sharing a laugh (with one of the Greatest Presidents ever!) lol what shall I write the President asks?

"Paul McCartney does Rawkk
and so do I"
Love
President Bill Clinton!

I ended up buying 6 copies of the Uncut magazine, than I found out a friend had cut work and stood inline getting not one but two copies of Bill Clinton's autographed book~

So what's wrong with Macca's Wonderful Christmas Time?

So what's wrong with Macca's Wonderful Christmas Time?

Oh I'm on one now since I couldn't print piccies today. lol Why do some people complain about Paul McCartney's Wonderful Christimas time? It's a quaint, happy lil song you nay sayers. If you donot like Macca's lil Christmas Jingle, don't listen to it, simple as that. I see nothing wrong with this song at all. NO, it's not because I love Macca either it's catchly, especially when playing in stores. So I say to you critic's. you can "Kick Rocks" lol
ta HB~

Dude how hard could it be to print piccies? here is what NOT to do!

Dude how hard could it be to print piccies? here is what NOT to do!

Man I have spent the last 5 plus hours attempting to print piccies. NO CAN DO! lol first off I have an inkjet printer, secondly the quality is poor and makes pics run or distorted. Don't buy ink jet printer for pics! Than went to a local fotoshop to get a CD-R to copy piccies to file right?

Well it copied most of the piccies but not the pics that I wanted (49er pics at training camp!) why? these pics were sent via email even tho we were at the damn training camp lol.

I then went to send said 16 pics to Shutterfly, NO CAN DO! they were in the wrong effin format. Bitmap not J-peg. So I will try one more thing, upload said pics to my blog in a draft than go back to the fotoshop and upload to CD-R there since they DO have Internet access hopefully this will work and I will try this tomorrow.

By the way, My Paul McCartney piccies from the Amoeba gig came out blurry, wouldn't you know it, as I was using my cell and Paul was jumping and moving around.lol
Dang I never thought trying to print pictures could be so freakin frustrating & complicated! lol

Paul Interview In The Times UK Today

14.12.2007

BUY TIMES WEBSITE
Paul Interview In The Times UK Today

From Macca's webby Today's Times (UK) carries a brand new interview with Paul by Pete Paphides.

Featured in the TIMES 2 supplement, Paul discusses his break from EMI and the release of

'Memory Almost Full' through the Starbucks, meyesight.com, Bruce Springsteen, Damon Albarn, the new albums he is working on, the BRITs and playing at Anfield next year.
here is a excerpt from the Times:

" It seems that excitement – or rather the lack of it – struck the death knell for what was already becoming a strained relationship with his old label. “Everybody at EMI had become a part of the furniture. I’d be a couch; Coldplay are an armchair. And Robbie Williams, I dread to think what he was,” he begins. “But the most important thing was, I’d felt [the people at EMI] had become really very boring, y’know? And I dreaded going to see them.”

What was Macca smoking at The Led Zeppelin concert?

12/12/2007
What was Macca smoking at The Led Zeppelin concert?

We know celebrities sometimes bend the rules - but if you're Paul McCartney you can get away with any thing. The Beatles legend was spotted with what seemed to be a, er, herbal roll-up, but discreet staff turned a blind eye as Macca, 65, earlier puffed away.
One over-zealous worker gushed: "Don't worry, you're a legend." Earlier that evening he'd decided he needed a swift drink - or two - and rocked up to the bar where he ordered two pints just 15 minutes before the opening number.

harleyblues take:
ahh c'mon this can't possible be true? This story came from the Mirror.UK. I just don't see Paul smoking a joint in public. Yes I can see Paul smoking pot at 25 not 65.
Perhaps Macca was smoking a clove ciggy if anything, after all they are natural right? clove ciggs I mean. Do you think Paul would actually be balls out like this and smoke a joint at a Zeppelin gig? NAHHH!
By the way how was the Gig Paul?

I just have to say Amy Winehouse's, is a hip chick but her "Rehab" sucks! whats so effin brilliant about that lil jingle? does that deserve a freakin Grammy?, no!

"They want me to go to rehab but I say No No No"!~ I see nothing Grammy worthy of these lyrics, do you Paul?
If she wins a Grammy for that, well than we all know the Grammy's are fixed. LOVE YOU PAUL!!~ woohooo and congratulations!

THE BEATLES SHE'S LIVING HOME

THE BEATLES SHE'S LIVING HOME
Uploaded by igzatz

Video sent by igzatz

This is the best video of "she's leaving home" ever, watch it yourself. One of my all time favorite Beatle's songs. Was I shocked when Paul sang this during one of his tours, sheesh, what tour did Paul sing this in 03? When Paul started out this song, I was like "no wayyy Paul is singing this"?!

I't was very surreal because you remember these songs as a kid and there's some that really stand out in your head and your heart, how vivid the song is to you, when you listen to it. She's leaving home is one such song..

One thing tho I disagree with John is, "money can buy fun, but money can't buy you love". Thanx Paul for such a beautifully written song, your friend harleyblues -wink~

Paul McCartney to tour - after divorce in 08

Paul McCartney to tour - after divorce in 08

SIR Paul McCartney expects to tour Australia for the first time in nearly 15 years as soon as his divorce from Heather Mills is finalised.Speaking by phone from his office in Britain, the ex-Beatle said he is waiting for life to get back to normal before he firms up his touring plans for 2008
. "Next year I am starting to plan some touring but I don't know how much," Sir Paul said. I have been dying to get to Oz for an awful long time," he said. "I am planning it. I am hoping for it. I would love to get down there because I haven't been forever.

If we get down there, man, we're going to have fun." It has been nearly 15 years since the former Beatle last toured Australia.
He played the Sydney Entertainment Centre in March, 1993 for his global The New World Tour, with former wife Linda McCartney in his band.

Sir Paul was set to tour Australia in November, 2002 but cancelled after the Bali bombings that year. He said the 2002 tour was cancelled out of respect for the Australians that lost their lives in the tragedy.
"It wasn't the right moment and very regrettably because of that we had to cancel," he said. "We didn't feel like it would be the right moment."to be con........

The day the world stood still John lennon's untimely death

The day the world stood still John Lennon's untimely death

It's hard to believe that it has been 27 years, since John Lennon was assassinated by that CREEP MDC. Who would have known that this would be John & Yoko's last walk together? I sure did not, as I was in high school on this fated day. I must say that I was truly shocked and in tears, how could someone kill one of my hereo's?

Today a quiet kind of silence of reflection and memories that come flooding in since
I first heard The Beatles music as a lil girl.Today I remember the positive influence that John Lennon gave to the world, his message of PEACE * LOVE, and humour that brought smiles to my face.

His beautiful music we will always have to listen to and too celebrate his spirit which will never be forgotten. A great man you were John W. Lennon, I love you John ~ where ever you may be "Across the Universe"
Below is a sampling of John Lennon and Beatles vids.

Paul McCartney's Grammy Nominations 2007

Paul McCartney's Grammy Nominations

OK this is very cool beans for Paul's 3 recent Grammy nominations on his critically acclaimed album Memory Almost Full.
For those that do not know The "Grammy's" are the highest honor in music an artist can achieve.
But will they actually give Paul a Grammy this year?
I think not, I think these Grammy's are based on record sales and air play if you ask me, not solely based on the artist's musical ability.
Hope they do not rip Paul off once again, this year. While we are at it, why wasn't

"Memory Almost Full" nominated for album of the year
is quite puzzling?.
In 1990 Paul McCartney did receive a Grammy Lifetime achievement award. it's Time for Paul McCartney to be recognized in music once again, wouldn't you agree?

Phill Collins to never work with Paul McCartney

Phill Collins to never work with Paul McCartney

If you haven't read on the net by now, Phill Collins refuses to ever work with Paul McCartney again, why? he doesn't like the direction Paul's music is going in. Huh?

"McCartney's current 'musical direction' does not match his own high standards."

When is the last time Phill Collins made any music, that was "Note" worthy, Can you say Genesis? Do we really give a shit? No. What high standards does Collins hold?

I suspect Mr. Collins is a lil green with envy, because Macca is all over the media,

Phill is not. What, with Paul's latest 2 albums & DVD releases:

Ecce Cor Meum, Memory Almost Full & The McCartney Years. Not to mention the secret gigs in London, Paris, & New York. The Electric Proms event in London and the smart lil commercial for ITUNES who wouldn't be a lil envious of Macca? Paul's over the map.

note: Phill, if you want publicity, I suggest you try another way, say like writing a new album that is "Note" worthy, rather than slamming Paul McCartney.
Carry On Paul, Carry on!

Where did all the time go blogging mostly

Where did all the time go blogging mostly

That's what I'm asking myself this past week I have been off work, vacation, much needed really.
Here is how I have spent my time this past week. 68 hours blogging, surfing the net and reading other blogs. Yes, that is alot of time, you do it too. ha!
1/2 hr. food shoppin, who needs to eat? 1/2 hr. getting gas, this cost me $50 for just a lil over half a tank of gas, I live in the bay area.
1/2 hr. cleaning house, well maybe more but who's counting? lol 1 hour playing with my cat's. 4 hours watching movies.

I ask myself is this time well spent? Sure it is because I wasn't at work which I do love by the way. It has been a tiring vacation in one sense since I have been online most of my vacation. My next vacation is about 3 weeks from now and I wonder what I will be up to then?
Sometimes we just need to veg out and do nothing accept for hang out. Have you ever had such a lazy vacation?

This Video pretty much describes me this past week
