Remembering George Harrison
I remember that day when 'Dear George', passed away.. I knew he was ill and prayed like mad, ( OK like hell ) he would make it through someway, somehow.. please God! I prayed. I was lying in bed when I heard the news over the radio of his passing. I was deeply saddened.. I was angry. I was pissed. It's been 9 years now. I remember like it was yesterday..whew.
.
Georges's memory will never, fade away. I did get a bit misty watching his vids on Youtubde. His music lives on forever. What a beautiful soul.. Such a beautiful person who gave so much and taught us so much through his music. The message in there.. so prolific and funny...Love you George, you are missed deeply.. You'll always live in our hearts~ some vids below- please have a listen...OK, I've just busted out in tears!

Paul McCartney Owes No one a damn Apology!
Hey kids. I wasn't gonna do it; I wasn't going to say a thing; but this nitpicking and back lashing of Paul McCartney & President Barrack Obama is a bunch of non-sense crap.. splattered on Fox News, You tube, Macca's Official webby and lil pockets here and there..regarding his joke; when receiving his Gershwin prize..
Can anyone get a sense of freaking humor here in middle America? namely you conservative, hypocrites; who like to bash anyone with a sense of Justice, Intelligence, Wit and Democratic values of the people.. Who knows what John Lennon or George Harrison would think?-
I' believe they would say the same kinda thing- perhaps adding to Paul's snippet. God only knows, had Paul, said something controversial- What kind of blubbering out cry there would be~ and this was just a quaint lil joke - by a Beatle, a Legend, a Poet, Artist, Activist, Father - "Macca" Paul is no freakin slouch..
Put your big boy & girl pants on.. start with a daily mantra ..of?
"oh you're so shocked & offended" by Paul's innocent joke~
Go live in Siberia if you're so easily offended.. or communist China- or Korea. are you so thinned skinned? You give the decent conservatives a bad name.. How embarrassing- all the hate you are spewing- Get a clue , Get a grip & Get a life! I'm grateful I do not share in your narrow minded, elitist attitudes~
Go blow off some steam by doing some jumping jacks or something ha!
You want an Apology?
Too every pissed off Conservative...

You want an Apology?
Too every pissed off Conservative...
Let's see.. perhaps Macca would consider an apology; when George W. Bush apologizes too The American people, and The World- for the War in Iraq- Lying, & more lying and deceiving - the people;.. leaving this country in shambles for our current President, Barrack Obama, to clean up the mess,... only than ..
maybe.. just maybe... Paul would.. apologize....nahh.. no way!
The innocence of a wee joke.. spurs out rage by the Right . amazing!!
Sorry, you didn't win The White House... that would be a winner, right? Sarah Palin and her pyscho-ness- yeah, just what America needs...
Would there be a difference If 'A Republican' were sitting in Office, and Paul had made the comment about a Democrat? hardly~ Your Mamma's should be ashamed of the fucked up off spring they raised, that's right. You're the ones with no manners or class. You preach hate & war; some of you claiming you're God fearing people- riggght..
Are there not more important issues to worry about in this world- than what Paul McCartney said about a former President? it was his night accepting his Gershwin award. Let him have his day- you attempt to ruin it with political rants and verbal lynchings..
I'm really put off by all the foul- salty posts; your inaccurate, poor news reporting, ie FOX news, you tube vid messages and any, other way, you can find- dissing- Paul McCartney & President Obama, Demanding apologies..
Paul McCartney doesn't owe you a damn thing!

Still reeling off The charity gig in New York, wow!
Hey people. Here it is one week later since attending the charity gig in New York. I am, still, thinking about it, with huge smiles on my face. Anyone reading this there also? It was just amazing!! I hope there will be a dvd for purchase in the future- since it was filmed. I am so happy to have seen, Paul & Ringo, perform together, such a joy, joy a joy joy! :)
work that week
It was rather difficult to work tues.- thurs. from lack of sleep. I barely managed, somehow I did. I must have talked about it, all day, at work, the last several days..I had asked my manager if I could get off work early on thurs. I was trippin on my own two feet. So, what happens when I get home, ready to crash out ?
The cops~
a huge, freakin neon orange sticker on the drivers side of my El Camino-peeled off and pasted
on the window. Dangit, are they freakin serious? a cop stated he was gonna tow my car it stated on the sticker. The tires were marked with white chalk all over them. whew, there goes any bit of sleep. Hum, did this cop even bother to check that my vehicle was registered?
I laughed to myself, for the fact that I have had 2 other major vehicle problems in the last month and a half. It took a good 15 mins to get that unslightly sticker off the window. so I took the car for a spin to the car wash, called the police depart. and left a detailed message, I believed, I was being harrassed. The car isn't abandoned? dangit the end of my message said.. I have two vehicles, My other car is a BMW .. it's funny how the murphy's of law happen at any given notice. :)
I wonder if Paul, or any of the Beatle's, had problems with coppers and their rides? lmao picture that!!

You meet the most interesting people with Beatle connections
Like I always say, there is usually not a day, that I donot mention The Beatles, in some form or another. Whether it be at work (damn, I talk about them alot) online, on the phone. or a story or two. The Fab four, are, a source of constant discussion. :)

I met two such persons this past week. One David Andrew from Teignmouth in Devon. David a tall. quiet man with steely blue eyes and brilliant smile. I had mentioned to David and his friend Danny, I was on my way to Ney York, this coming week to attend The David Lynch Charity gig, where Paul McCartney & Ringo Starr will be performing. David mentioned he met the Beatles-well sort of. :)
David & his mates crash Beatles Hotel
It was a fated day in 1967, the Beatles, were in Teignmouth to film the Magical Mystery tour. When David & his mates snuck into the hotel, than gained access to the floor where the Beatles were... staying-ha!
The Beatles, than ran into the kids and said hello, waving to them.
I cannot remember at this moment, what else david had said? I was far too excited to hear about the story. David's grandparents, lived just two doors down from the hotel, seen right.
This photo is of the next morning when the Beatles were leaving....David, was in school and it was sometime around this time David's grandfather walked along from their house
(in photo) were the lads said "Good Morning Sir" as they were getting into their car.
What a brilliant story! I received an email from David today, giving me a link to this foto. He is in Vancouver, Canada. A few years later, David, told me he worked at Harrods in London.
David meets Ringo in Harrods
While working at Harrods, who walks in? Ringo Starr. David said Ringo was rather friendly and an all around nice person. That day David, sold Ringo, A fruit bowl. (no, not a bowl of fruit lol) he said it was a rather nice fruit bowl. Was it crystal David? :)
^
I also asked him, if he had mentioned to Ringo, that day in 1967 in Teignmouth? he said no, well, I had to ask :) What a friendly, English gentleman David was. I was happy to hear his Beatle's stories and glad to have met him. David, currently lives in Vancouver, Canada.
Pat Johnson foto's Yoko Ono
The very next day from meeting David, I formally met Pat Johnson. Pat Johnson, a cool hip, rocker dude with long curly locks of grey with a Rockin - Roll vibe. I thought he was a musician?^
I also mentioned to Pat & his lovely wife, the Gig, in New York-with Macca, Ringo & Donovan.
Pat's wife, also said she was a Beatles fan too! woohooo, right on! Than Pat, said last year he had photographed Yoko Ono!` No freakin way, I thought?
I mentioned, I finally got Paul's autograph after all these years following him around the world. at the Shark tank of all places. Pat had his lap top, so, I showed him the site here. Poster right, just in case some cannot see it on my side bar...He couldn't believe out of all the millions of people in the world, that I got Paul's' siggy! I couldn't believe he photoed Yoko Ono and a gang load, of amazing artists! Damn! what the?
Pat, than showed me the foto's he took of Yoko, one of them right and another way cool, black and white of her. He asked me what groups I like? I said Zeppelin. Got a foto of them. I noticed Zappa too.^
Today, I tried to find Pat's webby, here it is. So I went sleuthing to see some of Pat's Piccies-here were some I veiwed over his massive collection:
Frank Zappa, Mick Fleetwood, Elvis Costello, Elton John, Stones, David Bowie, Rick James, Ray Manzerick...On & On and on ...
*
You can guess what Mr. Pat does for a living :)
Geeez, some fantastic fotos, Pat has! See Pat's webby @ Pat Johnson Studios I am still at his webby, looking at all the foto's.
I should send him, this post. foto courtesy Pat Johnson Studios
^
Pat, never had the oppurtunity to fotograph the Beatles themselves. ahhh.~I believe, he also said he met George Harrison, too? I wonder who Pat will photograph- next? Pat, is one cool cat. You never know who you will meet in your daily journey? Well, I am taillights, for now.

I'm getting nervous it's almost time to see Paul McCartney & Ringo!
Morning people! I hope you are fine and in, great spirits. It's been two years since I have seen Paul McCartney live. In just two short weeks, I will be, one of those lucky fans who did get a ticket to The Charity gig in New York. I am, tremendously excited! I'm excited to see Paul and Ringo perform together! A first for me, ever. I hope & pray I get that one day off in April so I may see Macca in Vegas too.
Seeing Paul McCartney live is a surreal spiritual experience
The first time I had ever seen Macca live, was in 2002. Reason being, Macca hadn't toured in years since he was with Wings, in the 90's, Berkley being one of his last gigs-in the bay area. There was no Internet-only local radio or your favorite record store that announced such gigs. I was so disappointed, I had no money, no car, but prayed one day, that I would actually see Paul McCartney perform live. Here we are 2009 and I have went to every gig- that I could possibly attend and AFFORD~ lol
Seein Macca live, for me, is such a surreal spiritual experience. The Beatles music touches my heart and my soul-that is actually difficult to form into words. Their music is healing. The Beatles sing about everyday people. I love that! I suppose one of those reasons is, you cannot believe you are actually seeing a former living Beatle, sing such songs, as you heard as a young kid. You say OMG- I LOVE that freakin song!!
I can't believe Macca is singing this one?!!. Such as, 'She's leaving home', 'Helter Skelter', 'She came in thru-the bathroom window'. Or, 'Too Many people', via The Wings era. Paul performing live brings you to tears. You feel the music.
The Beatles, have helped me thru the most unbearable times, such as being homeless, yep! Harleyblues, went thru that bullshit, a few times in fact, and other dark things I care not to comment about at this time. Thos four lads from Liverpool, Paul, John, George, Ringo and the man above, have always been there and have seen me thru- in the Sunny & Dark periods in life. I truly Love, The Beatles & I Love, Paul McCartney.. truly..: :)

"To Paul and Ringo, Thank you for the "Miles of Smiles" love you!"
We can work it out-another fav from the Fab four- dedicated to Friends!
I am also hoping, I get to see Geoff in New York and give him a hug. It's been 5 years since I have seen him. :):) See kids, never give up on your dreams you never know what might happen?
perhaps... more later? Have a beautiful day~

Macca ready to release lost Beatles track finally!
LONDON-Observer
For Beatles fans across the world it has gained near mythical status. The 14-minute improvised track called 'Carnival of Light' was recorded in 1967 and played just once in public. It was never released because three of the Fab Four thought it too adventurous.
The track, a jumble of shrieks and psychedelic effects, is said to be as far from the melodic ballads that made Sir Paul McCartney famous as it is possible to imagine. But now McCartney has said that the public will have the chance to judge for themselves.
'It does exist,' McCartney says on a BBC Radio 4 arts programme to be broadcast this week. Talking to John Wilson, the presenter of Front Row, the former Beatle confirms that he still has a master tape of the work and says he suspects that 'the time has come for it to get its moment'. 'I like it because it's the Beatles free, going off piste,' he adds.
*The piece was inspired, McCartney says, by the works of composers John Cage and Karlheinz Stockhausen. In his book Complete Beatles Recording Sessions, author Mark Lewisohn - who was played the track in 1987 - describes 'distorted, hypnotic drum and organ sounds, a distorted lead guitar, the sound of a church organ, various effects (water gargling was one) and, perhaps most intimidating of all, Lennon and McCartney screaming and bawling random phrases including "Are you all right?" and '"Barcelona!".' *
In the 40 years since 'Carnival of Light' was recorded by McCartney, Ringo Starr, George Harrison and John Lennon in the Abbey Road studios in London, its collection of disparate rhythms has become a kind of holy grail for Beatles obsessives. The track was put together on 5 January 1967, in between working on the vocals for the song 'Penny Lane'.
A video response to Carnival of Light~ Opus 002
Coincidentally, McCartney played some of his Fireman compositions at the reopened Roundhouse venue last year during the Electric Proms. 'With the Fireman you're in disguise,' he told Observer Music Monthly.
His pseudonym may have been taken from the lyric of 'Penny Lane' where a fireman 'rushes in from the pouring rain' and could also be a nod to his father, Jim McCartney, a firewatcher on the Liverpool docks in the Second World War.
• John Wilson's interview with Paul McCartney can be heard on Front Row, Radio 4, on Thursday
The Observer
HA! Let's hope this track doesn't sound something- too scary, like Yoko Ono's avant garde, music. Sorry Yoko,. I'm just not fond of your music. I can't wait another day Paull!!!! give us a clue, a snippet, I'll find it! What will the critic's think? -Muhahahaha!

Rare Beatles - White Album UK 1968 Mono LP Cover No.0000005
HA! it's funny how a few numbers on an album cover can fetch so much money. Than again, this just isn't any OL album,. but a rare Beatles 'White Album' #5! I have a few White LP's maybe one of them is numbered. But who in their right mind would buy such an album? Maybe me, if I had that kinda money. I'm sure hoping Paul McCartney will secretly buy this album for his daughter Beatrice. Not someone with 'Fat Pockets' looking for bragging rights, this is a great find with a rich history. It's also difficult to find such an album with all is parts and inserts intact.
The inside poster which comes with the album, I currently have hanging on my wall, right in front of me above my desk framed nicely, in a gold frame. Not all my albums came with these posters.
The Album
'The Beatles' (more commonly known as 'The White Album' ) was released exactly 40 years ago on 22nd November 1968.
Widely held to be one of the most influential albums of all-time, it was recently given the number one position in the '200 Rarest Records of All Time' by 'Record Collector' magazine.
The two-record set, housed in a plain white cover was designed by Richard Hamilton and each carried its own unique number stamped on the front cover.
Copies numbered 0000001 to 0000004 were originally given to the members of The Beatles themselves and as yet, none of these first four numbers have emerged onto the market.
(hb: well they shouldn't come onto the market, duh)
The History of No.0000005
check this story out! Some years ago, this album was taken into the collectors shop named 'Vinyl Revival Records' in Newbury, Berkshire, England by a musician (they did not disclose who) ( hb:who was it Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Eric Clapton?) who had visited John in the flat that he shared with Yoko in late 1968 (that was owned by Ringo) at 34 Montague Square, Marylebone, London W.1.
The musician saw a pile of White Albums on a table and asked for one. (hb: all the more rare if you ask me!)
John readily agreed, but said 'Don't take No.1 - I want that'. Instead he took No. 5'.
The album then passed into the hands of Beatles specialist dealer 'Good Humour' who then sold it to its current owner who has now commissioned me to sell it on his behalf. wanna check out this album for yourself for auction, with lovely piccies included? Ebay.co.uk
At last check the album was at £2,050.00 close to $4000 whew!
This auction for mono No.0000005 is the lowest number to emerge to date and represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own the lowest numbered mono copy which may ever be offered for sale.

Long time ago when we was Fab Macca in Israel
One week until Paul & the band play Israel.,.and I still have concerns, I worry for Paul..
Who would have thought even 15-20 years ago, that a musician would be threatened with his own life for wanting to play in a foreign land? Now the mop-top Beatle of 1964 is threatened with his life in 2008, how freakin sad!
This shows you how dangerous this world has become. Ever since 9-11 this world has become crazier,. you'd never expect such craziness where it has become common place where terrorism is acceptable,. meaning US, in the free world have to deal with this crap on a daily basis. The war in Iraq, the war on terror.
No news orgs., have spoken about this on television, what:
"ahh no big deal just Paul McCartney being threatned with his life by some Wacko's in the Middle East,. it isn't news worthy,.Bullchips!"
Feel me now?
Do westerners even have right to step onto foreign ground forcing democracy onto a people and nations that do not believe in Freedom or Peace or even God?
Sheeesh, and here we have a group of people threatening the life of Paul McCartney who isn't a political figure or have an agenda, only there in Tele-Aviv to play music and have a good time. A musician who has as always spoke of spreading Peace & Love thru music...Just like the Beatles have all those years ago..
I'd say leave those nations alone that do not adopt the beliefs of the west., Music is a universal language that bring people together however, in this case extremist's do not understand it's meaning or symbolism now,. nor will they ever nuff said....
need a lil music? see George Harrison below

Bye Bye Bonds Isnt it a pity! is he a creep?
Bye Bye Bonds, Isn't a pity is he a CREEP?
Oh darn! Barry Bonds NOT returning to San Fransico Giants next season! Isn't it a Pity? Let Mr. Personality go, there are plenty of other potential contenders with talent in baseball without, under cover (steroid) scandal who should be recognized in baseball.
Marc Ecko, a fashion designer, purchased number 756 for $750,000 and is taking votes on the Internet on what he should do with it: 1.Give the ball to the Baseball Hall of Fame,2.brand it with an asterisk or 3.blast it into space. hahahaha! If you'd like to vote on the balls fate click here
Here is what Bonds had to say reguarding Marc Eckos purchase a quote from San Fransico Chronicle:
"He spent $750,000 on the ball
and that's what he's doing with it?
What he's doing is stupid." Barry Bonds
ahh great answer Barry, geeez! (not) Isn't it a pity?
below for Bonds departure of the Giants-Since I could not find an actual George Harrison "Isn't it a pity" video I think I'll post this song below enjoy. Is Bonds a CREEP? Please leave your comments!
Aug 25th update:
hurry you have 40 minutes left to vote for the balls fate #756!
